Objective
The first product release should demonstrate high-value use cases that are understandable, testable and measurable. Avoid launching with dozens of abstract governance features. A customer should be able to connect a real agent, see its effective authority, apply a policy and observe the result.
What to build
- Discover shadow agents and orphaned service identities in cloud, source code and AI platforms.
- Block unauthorized data exports or dangerous tool calls at runtime.
- Require human approval for high-impact actions such as payments, deletion, privilege changes or bulk external messaging.
- Record every agent/tool transaction with actor, delegation chain, policy result and evidence.
- Attribute model/tool consumption to agent, team, application and business purpose.
Implementation decisions
- Build demo scenarios around finance, customer support, engineering and operations agents.
- Create policy templates that customers can deploy in monitor-only mode before enforcement.
- Define a “protected action” abstraction that works across APIs, MCP tools and browser/computer-use workflows.
- Package each use case with expected inputs, policy examples, telemetry and measurable outcome.
Definition of done
- Five production-quality use cases work end-to-end with sample data and at least one live enterprise integration each.
- Customers can run monitor-only, approval-required and block modes for the same policy.
- No use case depends on proprietary access to one model vendor.
Success metrics
- Use cases activated per tenant
- Protected actions per day
- Approval decision latency
- Policy false-positive rate
